Dennis Frieden
After being in the Southern California real estate business for 30 years, I have found that the single most important choice you can make is selecting your agent. The guidance of a skilled and experienced agent can be a tremendous benefit, and choosing your agent becomes an especially important decision when considering buying or selling property in a unique and complicated area like Julian. When you choose Julian Realty, you can confidently expect a positive and successful experience working with myself or any of our fine real estate agents.
Dennis Frieden, owner broker of Julian Realty was born in San Diego and has 30 years of real estate brokerage experience in areas including Mission Hills, Pacific Beach, Downtown San Diego, Palm Springs, and now, Julian. His great grandfather owned two goldmines in town during the 1920s, and Dennis has loved Julian since his youth.

Jane Brown-Darche

As a San Diego native, I frequently visited this mountain area to ride my horse and play in the snow. Remembering those fond memories I moved to Julian in 1989 to live the quiet and peaceful life I dreamed of. My goal was to raise my two daughters in a small town and enjoy the ambience that rural life has to offer. Both girls enjoyed Girl Scouts and sports. After completing high school my daughters attended universities at Cal Lutheran and San Diego State. My husband, Tom, who also grew up in San Diego, has been in the construction business for 37 years, 33 of those years in Julian. He enjoys the fresh air and working outside. I enjoy working outside as well which make real estate a perfect fit for me. In my spare time I ride my two horses in the nearby mountain and desert parks. I am a volunteer equine patrol member for the County Parks of San Diego.
Choosing real estate as my career has been rewarding. My parents opened their own real estate office, Brown and Curry Real Estate, in Julian in the early 1970s. They inspired me to pursue a career of selling real estate in the back country. I received my Real Estate Broker’s license in 1990. I have enjoyed meeting people and sharing my experiences and love of the mountains. Helping people find a piece of this beautiful country for their own dreams makes me enthusiastic and excited. I am honest, dependable and professional. Trusting me with your real estate needs will prove to be a positive experience.
On January 1, 2007, I re-affliated with Julian Realty. I am pleased to be associated with this fine real estate company who pride themselves on having a friendly and professional staff. Julian Realty agents are ready to assist Buyers and Sellers with their utmost care using the latest in technology. Our website is user friendly offering the customer an abundance of information. Besides having a prime location in the Julian townsite, Julian Realty has a great presence in the community.
